Understanding the "Shadowban"
A shadowban means your account still exists, but all your posts and comments are automatically hidden from the public. Only you can see them, making diagnosis extremely difficult and time-consuming for affiliates.
The Warm-up Rule
Never buy a 5-year-old account to send a DM containing an affiliate link 3 minutes after logging in. Even if the account has 10,000 Karma, a sudden IP change (even with an excellent proxy) combined with a spam action will trigger an algorithmic flag.
Required Actions During the First 48 Hours:
- Browse (scroll) for a few minutes on the main timeline.
- Join 4 or 5 large "general" subreddits (e.g., r/pics, r/funny).
- Leave a harmless and contextual comment.
- Let it rest for 24 hours and repeat.
Once the account has "validated" its computer change (thanks to your clean organic approach), its authority is restored to 100%.
